The NHRA Pacific Division rolled into town for five days of racing! A Wednesday Test & Tune, A National Open and a Divisional! Racers came from around the country to get two NHRA Grade Points, Collect Divisional Points and Race for a total of 16 Wally's!

Tucson Dragway began to allow Racers to Stack after the National Event in Phoenix on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday racers and crew parked their rigs for the event. Wednesday was a track hosted Test & Tune.

Thursday and Friday the racers took to the track and ran the NHRA Pacific Division National Open! After Thursday's Qualifying Sessions, there was a fourth qualifying session on Friday Morning that took Phil Cocuzza to the Number 1 spot in Super Stock, Kelly Lane in Stock Eliminator, Evan Kowalski in Super Comp, John Parrino in Super Gas, Dominic Reis in Super Street, Shaunda Blinzler in Top Comp and Denny Alves in Sportsman Motorcycle!

Followed by Tom Nolan taking the win over Mike O'Keefe in Super Stock, Matt Hawk over Larry Gilley in Stock Eliminator, Chad Webber over Marko Perivolaris in Super Comp, Rick Cates over Ray Ray Cordeiro in Super Gas, Mike Gardner over Dominic Reis in Super Street, Grant Durie over Will Yakimetz in Top Comp and Tom Patterson over Denny Alves in Sportsman Motorcycles.

Saturday was qualifying day for the NHRA Lucas Oil Divisional and it gave us one heck of a show as Don Bevers took the top spot in Competition Eliminator, Ron Roddel in Super Stock, Kelly Lane in Stock Eliminator, Johnny Burke in super Comp, Keith Manogue in Super Gas, Jed Dahar in Super Street, Phil Unruh in Top Sportsman, Steve Will in Top Dragster and Kahea Woods in Sportsman Motorcycle!

Sunday Morning Started off with a Non-Denominational Church Service by Racers for Christ then right into Round 1 where it started getting serious. Simply by listening to NHRA Announcer Alan Reinhart and watching the numbers on the scoreboards you could tell these racers were going to put up a fight for the Wally's!

When all was said and done Jeff Taylor took out Dustin Lee and Patrick McHenry to Double in Top Dragster and Top Sportsman, Ryan Mangus took out Larry Gilley and Gabriel Torres to double in Stock Eliminator and Super Comp, Tony Mandella took out John Edwards in Competition Eliminator, Brad Burton took out Don Keen in Super Stock, Ken Mostowich took out Rick Cates in Super Gas, Andrew Olson took out Kenny Snow in Super Street and Denny Alves took out Kahea Woods in Sportsman Motorcycle!

Thank you to everyone that attended, raced and had a great time with us! We sure had a blast as well! More photos, run sheets and data coming soon!
