COVID-19 Tucson Dragway and Pima County Guidelines

Attention In The Pits! This is an informative post please keep politics out of this post. Racers, Crew and Spectators when you are on the property you will notice a few changes in policies, procedures and guidelines. We have been working very close with the Pima County Health Department, Pima County, The CDC and The Sate to attempt to provide a safe race facility for everyone. We ask you to please follow these guidelines and participate in the polices. We would hate to jeopardize future events because these guidelines are not being followed. Per The County's Resolution a Face Covering is required when outside of your Pit Spot, Out Side of your vehicle or when you can not maintain proper social distancing.

If you are not feeling well please consider coming back for a different event. Please do not congregate or form large groups. Please wash your hands often.

Some of our Bathroom Stalls are closed to allow for better social distancing. We have additional Hand Washing Stations brought in next to the Porta-Johns. Since we have been limited to the amount of RV’s, Motorhomes and Campers that can stay overnight at the track please remember you should never dump anything on the grounds at Tucson Dragway. Please use a Pima County Approved Dump Site (Pima County Fairgrounds, Cactus Country RV or a Truck Stop) to do so.

There is a Drinking Water Quality Hose with an Inline Water Filter on it next to The Time Slips Booth if needed. That hose is Blue and White.

The Concession Stand will be open, please follow the White Lines on the ground indicating a safe 6ft distance from the person in front and behind you. Tables in Concession Row are meant to be used by people who live in the same household, one family per table please.

The Bleachers are open to watch the race but you must practice good social distancing. You will notice Green and Red Tape on the Bleacher Rows. Remember just like on the track Green me Go and Red Means no. Please only sit in the rows that have the Green Tape.

Our Team will have Face Coverings and other PPE that is necessary. If you walk up to speak to a member of our team please wear your Face Covering. The Tucson Dragway Tower is closed to the Public unless you are called up to speak to a Race Official. If you are called up please knock on the door and a staff member will meet you at the door.

If you should suddenly come down with COVID-19 Symptoms while you are at the track please call the Track Phone Number (520.762.9700) and let our Staff know. If you can head home or to seek medical attention that is the best option but if you don't feel that you can safely please communicate with Tucson Dragway Staff on the phone and they will walk you through the next steps that must be taken.

Again, thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding during this time. The entire Tucson Dragway Family appreciate your continued support and look forward to this weekends events with you! Let’s Go Racing!
