Tucson Dragway Salutes COVID-19 Victims

Tucson Dragway participated in two National Moments of Unity and Remembrance on January 19th, 2021 to honor the 400,000 Americans who lost their lives to COVID-19.

At 3:30pm (Local Time) Tucson Dragway Rang A Bell five times to symbolize “Peace.” As a Track Family we pray for Peace to be over those who have lost loved ones and we continue to pray for those who are still fighting to beat COVID-19.

At 5:30pm (Local Time) Tucson Dragway Lit A Candle in honor and remembrance of those who lost their lives to COVID-19. From our entire Track Family our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost loved ones and we pray for those who are still fighting to beat it!

COVID-19 Warning and Assumption of Risk:

We at Tucson Dragway have been working hard with Pima County and The State of Arizona to take proper precautions to try to keep our Racers, Crews, Spectators and Family as safe as possible while you are visiting Tucson Dragway.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists where people are present in any public place. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can cause severe illness and even death. According to The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and people with underlying health or medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

When you visit Tucson Dragway, you are voluntarily assuming all risk related to the exposure of COVID-19. If you are feeling unwell, please consider joining us later for a different event. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
